About David Beatty:
David has enjoyed travel for most of his life. When he was sixteen, he saved his money not for a car but for plane tickets! Since then he has sailed to the Galapagos Islands and throughout the South Pacific. He loves to ski and windsurf, and has hiked in Idaho, California, New Zealand, Switzerland and Italy. A graduate of Stanford, he was a book publisher and communications/marketing strategist who ran his own creative agency for many years. He’s spent more than ten years exploring Italy—from the Dolomites in the north to Sicily in the south—and now wishes to share his love of travel and good food with fellow travelers coming to Italy. He believes serendipity is an essential ingredient for enjoying life and looks forward to helping clients follow their noses to see what delights await.
